February 14, 2024 - Say yes to the pancakes!

The other morning, my kids asked for pancakes.  My gut response was no (I mean cereal is sufficient, right?) we need to get started on our work.  Then I paused and thought, is there really a reason to say no?  We don't have anywhere to be today, and they said "please."  So, I stopped, turned around, and said "you know what, yes, we can have pancakes."  Their faces lit up and we had an excellent day!

Say yes to the pancakes!  Your kids will remember.
